Over 130 million people are registered to vote in Pakistan: ECP

These comprise 70.40 million male and 60.92 million female voters, according to the most recent voter data made public by the ECP.

There are 568,406 male voters and 514,623 female votes out of a total of 1.094 million voters in Islamabad.

According to the Election Commission, there are more than 74.93 million voters in Punjab.

Approximately 12.382 million women and 14.4612 million men make up Sindh’s total voter population of 27.259 million.

In comparison, Balochistan has more than 5.4 million registered voters overall, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the third-largest province in the nation, has over 22.83 million individuals registered to vote.

In February 2018, there were 128 million registered voters, according to ECP.

The electoral commission said in a statement that “the ECP’s commitment to transparency is evident in this disclosure, providing citizens with accurate electoral information.”

It further stated, “This disclosure is in line with the Election Commission’s ongoing efforts to maintain an up-to-date and easily accessible record of the voting population in the country.”
